MISSION
Provide leadership and coordination in the financial planning, accounting, budgeting, HR and administrative efforts of the company. Direct and oversee all financial activities of the organization including preparation of financial reports as well as summaries and forecasts for future business growth and general economic outlook.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning and managing the finances of the entire organization (several countries)
Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures.
Ensure company compliance with national, international and stock market legal and accounting requirements.
Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports.
Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide business leaders. Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas.
Analyzes company operations to pinpoint opportunities and areas that need to be reorganized, down-sized, or eliminated.
Managing important vendor relationships.
Acting as the point of contact with the stock market, business press, and financial analyst community.
Management of non-financial areas of the business such as legal and HR.
Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Experience with finance, accounting and budgeting.
Understanding of complex financial concepts.
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
Up to date knowledge of current financial and accounting computer applications.
Understanding internet business strategy, processes and operations
Experience of contracting, negotiating, and management.
Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
Understanding of non-financial areas of the business such as information technology, legal and HR
Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational and written skills.
Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetingS.
